Until a hundert years ago the Three Peaks in the Dolomites were practically unknown. Today it is a true symbol of tourism: thousands of people wend their way to its foot every year. This process has happened in over 30 years.
The story of this change is narrated in a very personal manner by Andreas Pichler, a filmmaker coming from a town close to the Three Peaks. The movie contains archive material from World War One, Super-8-Family footage and animations.
